We continued to support our clients by introducing new accreditation programs, expanding our testing services, and performing technical evaluations of innovative building products, materials and systems for code compliance. Extended WaterMark Certification for Lead Free plumbing products
Joined industry leaders in signing the Traceability and Digitalisation Pledge.
Expanded our testing services by adding a new small-scale furnace at the Bryan, Texas test laboratory.
ICC Plan Review worked on 23 projects with 4Leaf, Inc., to support disaster relief and rebuilding efforts in areas of Maui devastated by wildfire in 2023.
Work began with Dewberry Engineers to assist with FEMA logistics and planning in support of the design of new home models and construction methods.
ICC-ES was featured on Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid, enforcing the message that code compliance helps save lives.
Hosted the California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program Symposium to educate environmental testing laboratories about this fastest growing accreditation program.
Launched the Standards Development Organization Accreditation Program.
Published the third edition of the International Journal of Conformity Assessment (IJCA), the only publication of its kind for conformity assessment professionals. The theme for this issue was food safety in the fields of testing, inspection, certification and accreditation.
Expanded the IAS Management Systems Certification Body Accreditation Program to include artificial intelligence applications.
IAS launched the Validation and Verification Body Accreditation Program. This accreditation is a formal recognition granted to organizations that perform validation and verification activities, ensuring their competence, impartiality, and consistent operation. Accredited bodies are critical in fields like environmental standards, quality assurance, and compliance with international protocols, such as ISO standards, greenhouse gas reporting, or product certifications.
